A rural country retreat in which to shake off the city blues, unwind, and have fun!
The family run kennels are fully licenced by Devon County Council and have an exemplary record of some 20 years plus as a boarding establishment.
A typical day includes 4 sessions of individual play in your dog’s very own play area as well as walks and fun activities. The dogs have toys, bones, and enrichment in their kennels plus their daily activities which can include scent trails and sniffari’s! They have action packed days but also just as importantly plenty of cuddle and fuss time on a one-on-one basis.
Our day typically starts at 5am in the kennels with breakfast and the rest of the meals are done onwards throughout the day depending on each dogs’ dietary requirements. The dog’s dens are in inside blocks, each den has a cosy sleeping area with its own little radiator and a run off of the sleeping area so in the summer they are cool, and, in the winter, they are nice and snuggly. Our laundry room is kept busy with daily changes of soft bedding and the kitchen is always a hive of activity and fabulous smells, providing tailored meals and snacks. We have three vets servicing the kennels; a local practice and a mobile vet for on-site treatment and a specialist clinical behaviourist vet practice locally, ensuring all treatments are available as and when needed.
The team of staff adore the dogs and dedicate their days to making their living accommodation and environment the very best it can be, cleaning their kennels four times a day, getting them in and out to play, taking them for walks and of course giving them lots of fuss and attention. The owners live on-site and the grounds are very secure with perimeter and air lock fencing with high level on-site security measures. Physical checks are also carried out overnight.
